Business Cards Directory is a new local company looking to raise funds to pay farmers to deliver organic nutritious produce to the food bank. How to do this in an easy, fun, meaningful way that pays really well?
Funds will be raised by offering businesses a business card sized listing in a neighbourhood directory. We will deliver 1,000 directories free of charge to the surrounding neighbourhood. We’ll send stories to the newspaper and have additional directories for sale at the copy centre. There will be options for additional directories and larger ads however the basic business card copied in black and white will cost $35 for the year.
We are looking for sales representatives to approach local businesses in each of 5 zones in the valley. There will be bank deposits made, forms filled out and directories to be delivered as well.
No experience necessary, we’ll provide training. Car an asset.
The pay will be $10.25 an hour or 10% plus another 10% shared from a pool based on number of hours worked, whichever is higher.
When the first directories are out and the project deemed a success, as it likely will, we will look at covering Vancouver Island North doing Campbell River, Port Alberni, Tofino and Parksville next.
The job should take about 6 weeks and pay thousands of dollars based on performance.
