Buy Vancouver Island MusicFest Tickets before April 30th and SAVE the HST

Whether we like the new tax or not, the tax man has told BC Festivals that they have to start charging the HST officially on May 1st. This means music fans have till midnight on April 30th to save the extra 7% (the new “Festival Tax”) on their weekend pass!

That’s money ($9.03 to be exact) that could be better spent on CD’s, apple cider, frozen mango’s, t-shirts, ice cream and other wonderful festival treats. Check out the website at islandmusicfest.com for a list of community ticket outlets and grab your tickets before the price goes up!
