Greetings Elevate Friends and Collaborators. Happy 2015!
We’re sending off a quick message to you all to make sure you have the dates for our 2015 event on your radar.
The 4th annual Elevate Festival will take place June 3–7 2015.
Building on the super fun times we’re had the first 3 years, we will be co-creating a variety of elevating events Wed-Fri and then presenting a FREE full day urban street festival in Downtown Courtenay on Saturday the 6th.
This year we’re also excited to be deepening our collaboration with Imagine Comox Valley and look forward to working together to link “Go Smart Day” with our 2015 event on Sunday June 7th. “Go Smart Day” is all about re-thinking and re-imagining transportation and use of public space in the Comox Valley and on the planet. What a perfect partnership!
Projects, partnerships and events are already brewing in the Elevate laboratories. The themes of exploration, experimentation, breaking barriers, urban reclamation and community building across generations stand. We have also started to build some programming around the theme of “REFLECTION” and invite you to embrace this theme as well.
We would love to talk to you about being involved with Elevate 2015. Whether you are a programming partner, a sponsor, a venue, a project champion, a volunteer, a media partner or a cheerleader you are part of the magic that IS Elevate. Let’s talk!
