Here are a few reminders about
making a successful post:

  • Make sure your content is relevant.
  • Make sure you have a good Featured Image.
  • Make sure your post has a strong, engaging title.
  • Make sure you have an Excerpt.
  • Categorize your post.
  • Choose or create appropriate tags.
  • Check if you can link anything in the text.

Why Video?

Whether you are creating your own videos (we highly recommend this!) or using another video, placing videos in a blog post is a great idea.

An embedded video is a tested way to engage your audience and keep their attention.  The more time your audience spends on your site the higher it will be ranked in Google’s search results.

You’re videos don’t need to be blockbuster productions.  Authentic, honest, and natural videos often convey your message better and will help your audience connect with you.

How to add the video module

Adding a new module is pretty straightforward. Here’s how.

Click the dark grey plus button to bring up the Insert Module menu

Scroll down to the Video module and select it. Click on the Module settings to bring up the media library.

Click on “Insert from URL.”

Paste your URL and then press “Insert into Post.” Now you have a Youtube video in your post!
