Got community way dollars (cw$)? Here’s your chance to spend them with local businesses, support community groups, and listen to fine music by Rodrigo, Joanna Finch, Larry Ayer, and Amanda Sullivan. Its not just fun and games either, although cakewalks, door prizes, and meat draws will be great entertainment. It’s a unique fundraiser for 26 community groups doing important work in the Comox Valley.

All vendors at the community way market at the Masonic Hall in Cumberland this Saturday 1-9pm will be accepting cw$ and Tarbells will be providing food and drinks for cw$ as well.

If you don’t have any cw$, you will be able to buy them at the market from any of the 26 registered community service organizations through the community way exchange. Any cw$ you don’t use on the day can be spent at any of the 55 registered businesses in the Comox Valley http://communityway.ca

Registered businesses and community organizations will be able to draw cw$ on their accounts through the exchange at the market or through community way exchange agents Broken Spoke Coffee and Bike Shop or Surecopy.

New businesses and community organizations are welcome to join and will be able to register at the market.
