Join LTNC on July 18th from 10-12 for a rhythm and food fiesta at the Lake Trail Garden!

Join Lake Trail Neighbourhood Connections for an hour of “Bringing the Rhythm” in the Community Demonstration Garden – a drumming circle for all ages and levels of experience facilitated by the amazing Monica Hofer! 

Then, upon working up a good hunger, tantalize your tastebuds with some samplings from the Carnival Caribbean Cabana! Here is what Wain will share with you:

• Fried plantain/Jerk dipping sauce
• Johnny Cakes/Guava Jelly
• Jerk Chicken bites (made with Happy Local chicken)!
• Sugar cakes
• Sweet Potato tarts
• Ginger Beer

Bring your wallets so you can then head over to the Carnival Caribbean Cabana, get some take-out for lunch and come hang out in the garden to enjoy community, food and a beautiful setting. (This is a great outing for daycares, or other organizations who need some ideas for programming!) 10-12, come one come all, it’s free! See you all there!
